  1. Day 1: Dax → Saint-Sever (49 km, 340 m ascent)

    From the spa town of Dax, you leave the Adour behind to reach the green hillsides of the Chalosse. Between quiet lanes and typical villages, this first stage takes you to Saint-Sever, the medieval and spiritual jewel of the Landes.

    Things to do:

    • Discover the historic centre of Dax

    • Ride the greenways along the Adour

    • Visit the Saint-Sever abbey (UNESCO)

    • Wander the medieval lanes

  2. Day 2: Saint-Sever → Eugénie-les-Bains (27 km, 160 m ascent)

    You ride across the Chalosse and the Tursan, lands of character and good food. The route alternates gentle hills, traditional farms and vineyards. Arriving in Eugénie-les-Bains brings a wellbeing break in a village with a spa charm all of its own.

    Things to do:

    • See the Guillay megalith

    • Stop at the Notre-Dame-du-Rugby chapel

    • Stroll through the gardens of the Eugénie thermal baths

    • Enjoy a spa treatment in Eugénie-les-Bains

  3. Day 3: Eugénie-les-Bains → Brassempouy (39 km, 340 m ascent)

    This stage takes you into the oldest history of the region. Leaving Eugénie-les-Bains, you ride through peaceful countryside to Brassempouy, a major prehistoric site and the birthplace of the famous Venus.

    Things to do:

    • Wine tasting in the Tursan vineyards

    • The museum of the Venus of Brassempouy

    • Emblematic prehistoric sites

    • Taste local produce at a craft farm in Brassempouy

  4. Day 4: Brassempouy → Dax (39 km, 280 m ascent)

    A final day on the bike between gentle hills and Landes plains. You gradually find the Adour valley and the town of Dax again. A fine conclusion blending nature, culture and the easy living of South-West France.

    Things to do:

    • See the Gallo-Roman ramparts of Dax

    • Treat yourself to a thermal mud treatment

    • Buy fresh Madeleines de Dax

    • Celebrate the end of the trip over a last Gascon meal
