  1. Day 1: Dax to Mont-de-Marsan (61 km, 270 m ascent)

    Head for the city of three rivers on the Scandibérique. This green route takes you to Mont-de-Marsan, a city of sculpture where water and art meet at the confluence of the Douze and the Midou.

    Things to do:

    • Visit the Despiau-Wlérick museum (sculpture)

    • Stroll the banks of the Midouze

    • Discover the Lacataye keep

    • Taste local specialities at the covered market.

  2. Day 2: Mont-de-Marsan to Roquefort (29 km, 170 m ascent)

    A stage that takes you into the history of the Landes bastide towns. You ride through forest landscapes before reaching Roquefort, a charming medieval town perched on a rocky spur and the gateway to Armagnac country.

    Things to do:

    • Admire the fortified Sainte-Marie church

    • Explore what remains of the ramparts

    • Walk along the banks of the Estampon

    • Enjoy a glass of Floc de Gascogne on a terrace

  3. Day 3: Roquefort to Labastide-d'Armagnac (15 km, 110 m ascent)

    The landscape fills with vines for this royal stage. You reach Labastide-d'Armagnac, one of the finest bastide towns in France, whose Place Royale is said to have inspired the Place des Vosges in Paris. A real journey back in time.

    Things to do:

    • Visit the Armagnac open-air museum

    • Admire the Place Royale

    • Discover the Cyclists' Chapel (Notre-Dame des Cyclistes)

    • Visit an Armagnac ageing cellar.

  4. Day 4: Labastide-d'Armagnac to Grenade-sur-l'Adour (43 km, 230 m ascent)

    A stage rich in built heritage. Along the way, the Château de Ravignan and the Hontanx tower bear witness to the region's past power. Your route ends in Grenade-sur-l'Adour, a bastide town founded on the riverbank.

    Things to do:

    • Visit the Château de Ravignan (18th century)

    • See the fortified tower of Hontanx

    • Discover the Gothic church of Grenade

    • Enjoy a quiet moment on the quays of the Adour.

  5. Day 5: Grenade-sur-l'Adour to Brassempouy (46 km, 500 m ascent)

    A varied route passing the famous Notre-Dame-du-Rugby chapel and the refined gardens of Eugénie-les-Bains. The stage ends on the heights of Brassempouy, birthplace of the famous "Venus with the Hood".

    Things to do:

    • Stop at the Notre-Dame-du-Rugby chapel

    • Stroll through the gardens of the Eugénie thermal baths

    • See the Guillay megalith

    • Visit the PréhistoSite of Brassempouy.

  6. Day 6: Brassempouy to Saint-Sever (19 km, 250 m ascent)

    You ride across the rolling landscapes of the Chalosse to reach Saint-Sever. This historic town overlooks the Adour and is home to a monumental abbey listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

    Things to do:

    • Visit the Saint-Sever abbey church (UNESCO)

    • Discover the Jacobins convent

    • Take in the panoramic view from the Morlanne viewpoint

    • Taste a free-range Landes duck.

  7. Day 7: Saint-Sever to Dax (47 km, 240 m ascent)

    For this final stage, you follow the Adour valley back to your starting point. The terrain softens, giving you a peaceful end to the trip through the rural, unspoilt landscapes of the southern Landes.

    Things to do:

    • See the Gallo-Roman ramparts of Dax

    • Treat yourself to a thermal mud treatment

    • Buy fresh Madeleines de Dax

    • Celebrate the end of the trip over a last Gascon meal.
