1. 01

   Day 1: Dax to Oeyregave (45 km, 150 m ascent)

   Calm along the Barthes de l'Adour. Leave the spa town on the Scandibérique for a flat, wild stage. You ride through the heart of the "Barthes", wet meadows where horses and migrating birds roam freely. An immediate immersion in the quiet of the river Landes, all the way to the charming village of Oeyregave.

   Things to do:

   • See the Fontaine Chaude hot spring in Dax

   • Watch the storks in the barthes

   • Admire the Eiffel railway bridge over the Adour

   • Ride the Scandibérique, a magnificent cycle route

2. 02

   Day 2: Oeyregave to Hastingues (37 km, 260 m ascent)

   Bastide towns, châteaux and kiwi orchards. This is the stage richest in culture and good food. You reach the village of Sorde-l'Abbaye before riding through the famous kiwi orchards and past the château de Bidache. You then follow the river Bidouze to the bastide town of Hastingues.

   Things to do:

   • Visit the Château de Gramont in Bidache

   • Explore the bastide town of Hastingues

   • Discover an Adour kiwi farm

   • Visit the Sorde abbey

3. 03

   Day 3: Hastingues to Dax (41 km, 260 m ascent)

   Along the balconies of the Chalosse. For the way back, gain some height on the hillsides of the Chalosse. This gently rolling route offers panoramic views of the Pyrenees on a clear day. You then drop slowly back down to the Adour valley to close your loop in Dax.

   Things to do:

   • Take in the view over the Pyrenees from the hillsides

   • Soak up the traditional market in Peyrehorade

   • Visit a foie gras duck farm

   • Treat yourself to a break at the Dax thermal baths on arrival

     • Taste the famous Madeleines de Dax.
