Cycling in the land of the Adour and the kiwi: Gourmet break in the Landes (3 days):

Peace and quiet along the Barthes de l'Adour. Leave the spa town via the Scandibérique for a flat, unspoiled stretch. You’ll cycle through the heart of the “Barthes,” these wet meadows where horses and migratory birds roam freely. It’s an immediate immersion in the tranquility of the riverine Landes region all the way to the charming village of Oeyregave.

Bastides, castles, and kiwi orchards. This stage offers the most cultural and culinary discoveries. You’ll reach the village of Sorde l’Abbaye before passing through the famous kiwi orchards and the Château de Bidache. Then you’ll follow the Bidouze River to the bastide of Hastingues.

Through the “balconies” of Chalosse. On the way back, head up to the hillsides of Chalosse. This gently rolling route offers panoramic views of the Pyrenees on a clear day. You’ll then descend gently toward the Adour Valley to complete your loop in Dax.
