Itinerary & Program
Day 1: From Dax to Hossegor (40 km, 100m gain)
Leave the spa town of Dax behind and head into the Landes forest canopy. Enjoy a peaceful ride through the pine trees to the relaxed atmosphere of Hossegor. Spend the end of the day relaxing by the sea at the marine lake.
Suggested activities:
Swim and taste oysters at Lake Hossegor.
Stroll through the Basque-Landes-style town center.
Go shopping at the famous surf brand outlets.
Enjoy the magnificent sunset at Santocha.
Day 2: From Hossegor to Biarritz (35km, 50m)
The shortest of the stages offers you the most scenery! You'll follow the coastline along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Vélodyssée. After passing through Capbreton and its marina, you cross the bridge over the Adour to reach the Basque country. The contrast is striking: fine sandy beaches give way to cliffs and Basque architecture. You'll then make your way up to majestic Biarritz, with its famous villas and surf spots. Suggested activities : - Visit the famous Rocher de la Vierge for a breathtaking panoramic view. - Stroll along the Grande Plage and admire the Hôtel du Palais. - Discover marine life at the Musée de la Mer (Aquarium). - Watch the sun set on the Côte des Basques (the birthplace of European surfing).Day 3: Biarritz to Urt
After the hectic atmosphere of the coast, this day offers a welcome change of atmosphere. You're heading inland, towards the authentic Basque Country. The rolling countryside takes you through typical villages and farmland, far from the hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts. The route ends on the peaceful banks of the Adour at the charming village of Urt, gateway to Lower Navarre. Suggested activities : - Explore the port and church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Urt. - Sample local produce (ewe's milk cheese, Basque ham) at a nearby farm. - Take a walk along the towpath on the banks of the Adour. - Visit the nearby Bastide of Briscous (short diversions possible).Day 4: Urt to Dax
On this final leg, the journey continues under the sign of serenity. You leave Urt and head upstream along the Adour. The route, once again flat and easy, takes you through small villages and lush green countryside. You use little-travelled roads and improved paths to return to your starting point, Dax. It's a quiet, pleasant conclusion to your cycling loop, leaving you time to savour the last few kilometres of your adventure. Suggested activities : - Relax at the foot of the Fontaine Chaude - Visit Notre-Dame-Ste-Marie Cathedral or the Borda Museum. - Take a gourmet break and enjoy a pastis landais (local cake). - End the day with a spa treatmentOptions de couchage

Our cycling holidays are accessible to everyone. However, you must be able to self-assess your physical condition to choose whether you wish to travel on a traditional bicycle or an e-bike.
Booking Conditions
Participants must be at least 16 years old and must be accompanied by an adult if they are minors.
The driver must be at least 19 years old. A security deposit for the bicycle will be taken on the day of your departure (credit card authorization).
Our partner Allianz provides insurance coverage throughout your trip (from the start date to the end date of your holiday) for traffic-related damages (deductible applies).
Meeting Time
Departure Day: We welcome you between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm on your departure day to give you the roadbook and a briefing on your trip directly at the agency.
Return Day: We welcome you between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm on your return day directly at the agency.
